Anytime you're boring a block distortion will occur to the cylinders unless you have a honing/torque plate installed as a brace. Ours is CNC machined from 2" thick 6061 billet aluminum. The top and bottom sides are face milled to ensure absolute flatness of the plate.
DSM (4G63/4G64)
They are bored .060 over so that the plate can be used with 4G64 blocks as well. Lastly, we include 4130 chrome-moly stud inserts to keep the plate from damaging during the torque down process.
Evo X (4B11)
Bore size is 90mm. Comes with 1018 steel stud inserts to keep the plate from damaging during the torque down process. Evo X Plate also fits Hyundai 4B11 engines.
